On 10.16.2011, we went to the
18th Annual Kiwanis Equestrian Competition for Special Athletes (KECSA) hosted by
Kiwanis Club of Warner Center at Hansen Dam Equestrian Center ~ 11127 Orcas Ave Sylmar, CA 91342-6723 ~ (818) 896-6514. Athletes and participants were from therapeutic riding clubs and individuals from California, Nevada and Arizona.

The Kiwanis Club of Warner Center-Woodland Hills Foundation is a California Corporation, recognized by Federal and State as a Charitable Foundation and has been granted 501(c)(3) "tax exempt" status. Donations to this foundation are generally deductible for income tax purposes. It is recommended that you check with your tax professional if you question whether your donation may be deductible and if there may be limitations to the amount. The foundation is a separate entity from the club and all funds raised from the community by the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center are donated to it. The foundation has its own group of officers and board members who meet monthly to manage the affairs of the foundation and who grant distributions from the funds for various charitable purposes. Officers and directors are all volunteer elected positions and must be members in good standing of the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center.
