Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive...

Thedownturn in the community has forced many residents in our community to have tochoose between putting food on the table or paying their bills. More and morepeople depend on food banks. A simple way to help is to participate in theNational Association of Letter Carrier’s Stamp Out Hunger National food Driveon Saturday, May 12.

On May 12, leave non-perishable food items outside by your mail box and yourPostal Service Letter Carrier will collect them and deliver them to local foodbanks. The best food items to donate are canned goods such as vegetables,soups, beans, chili, or proteins, or dried goods such as rice.
