The men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department
cordially invite you to join them and their families at the... 4th Annual 'Grateful Hearts' Warner Center
LAFD Food Faire and Fundraiser
...benefitting the Adopt-A-Fire Station Program
for San Fernando Valley Fire Stations.
In addition to live entertainment, fire apparatus displays and food booths from local businesses, a large contingent of Neighborhood Firefighters will be on site to personally thank local residents and businesses for their year-round support.
Join us for this festive public gathering on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 11:30AM to 2:00PM
on Oxnard Street between Owensmouth Avenue and AMC Place
in Warner Center.
Were the aforementioned not enough... San Fernando Valley Firefighters will be staffing the "Mother of All Barbecues
", with bountiful portions of firehouse-style Tri-Tip, Chicken, Ribs and more!
Through the sales of food tickets and other items, this event raises money to support the needs of Neighborhood Fire Stations
in the San Fernando Valley, including those that responded to the recent Marek
wildfires. Did we forget to mention the dunk tank featuring Neighborhood Firefighters and some others you might know? Grateful Hearts
is a fun event you can attend with pride, knowing that 100% of proceeds will directly benefit the thirty-seven Neighborhood Fire Stations in LAFD's Division 3
, serving the San Fernando Valley.
