Northridge: Tip-A-Cop and Help Support the Special Olympics
Come to Tip-A-Cop and Help Support the Special Olympics...
Chief of Staff Mitch Englander and Councilman Greig Smith are both long-time LAPD Reserve Officers, and they volunteer every year for the Tip-A-Cop event to raise funds for the Special Olympics of the San Fernando Valley.
This year's Tip-A-Cop event is on Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Wood Ranch restaurant at the Northridge Fashion Center. LAPD Officers will serve as your waiters, and all of their tips will go toward the Special Olympics.
Special Olympics is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive, respected members of society through sports training and competition. They offer year-round training and competition in 30 Olympic-type summer and winter sports.
The Northridge Tip-A-Cop has set records for raising funds for the Special Olympics. Join us for an evening of good food for a great cause.
