KEY LARGO, Fla., (UPI) — A Florida woman who was charged last year with trying to sell her baby was arrested again, this time on a prowling charge, police said.
Kenia Quiala Bosque, 30, of Hialeah, was taken to the Monroe County Detention Center after her arrest Thursday when a sheriff’s deputy saw two people acting suspiciously behind a Key Largo auto shop, the Florida Keys Keynoter reported Monday.
In the prowling arrest, deputies said Bosque and her companion gave conflicting reasons for why they were at the shop after hours. Authorities said they found a bolt cutter and gloves.
Bosque also was charged with violating terms of her probation, officials said
In December, she was arrested in Miami on a charge of attempting to arrange an illegal adoption of her then-8-month-old son for $7,000. In January, Bosque entered a plea agreement in Miami-Dade family court that required counseling and parenting sessions, but no jail time, the Keynoter said.
