Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Care Can't Wait. Holy Cross is expanding with another 136 new inpatient beds. This will include a Women's Pavilion (10 labor, delivery, recovery & post partum suites & welborn nursery). 12-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU) to care for premature & high-risk babies. A larger Gastroenterology Lab for diagnostic & therapeutic procedures for digestive disorders. A pre- & post-operative surgery department, with additional I.C.U. beds and 50 private patient rooms. 10 semi-private rooms to accommodate emergency patients who require overnight observation & 100-seat chapel featuring sacred space for liturgies & private reflection.
