Kansas: Senate Passes Apprentice Hunting Bill

Posted: 02.27.14 10:00 AM

Yesterday, the Kansas Senate passed Senate Bill 357 unanimously by voice vote. *SB 357 would increase the amount of times an individual over the age of 16 could apply for an apprentice hunting license and provide them with the opportunity to enjoy this activity while learning from an experienced mentor. *Currently, Kansas allows anyone over the age of 16 to apply for an apprentice license one time before requiring they attend hunter education. *
