AFP Asks Senator Carper to Protect Delaware, Reject Tariffs

ARLINGTON, VA—Americans for Prosperity today announced the launch of a new, digital advertisement campaign urging Senator Carper to support S. 287, the Bicameral Congressional Trade Authority Act. By supporting this bipartisan effort, Senator Carper will protect Delaware businesses and consumers from taxes in the form of certain new tariffs. *AFP President Tim Phillips issued the following statement: “Tariffs add an unfair burden and unwarranted tax to Delaware’s residents and economy.
