President Obama did it again, at a fundraiser in Connecticut.

Dear STEVEN:

President Obama did it again.
At a fundraiser in Connecticut, President Obama's remarks were dripping with contempt when he talked about you and the other 1.5 million citizen-activist members of AFP:
"…right now, all across the country, special interests are planning and running millions of dollars of attack ads against Democratic candidates….Millions of dollars. And, the groups are benign-sounding: Americans for Prosperity. Who's against that? [Laughter] Or Committee for Truth in Politics. Or Americans for Apple Pie. Moms for Motherhood. I made those last two up. [Laughter]"
"…You don't know if it's a Wall Street bank. You don't know if it's a big oil company. You don't know if it's an insurance company. You don't even know if it's a foreign-controlled entity."
He made similar remarks in Texas last month and raised $985,000.
Tickets to this Connecticut fundraiser cost $1,000 per person. $12,400 if you wanted a picture with the President. With an estimated 300 people in attendance, they raised quite a pretty penny here by attacking YOU and AFP!
Plus, fundraising letters and emails signed by Nancy Pelosi, Clinton operative Paul Begala, and other high-profile names on the Left use AFP to raise the money that finances their assault on free markets and the Constitution.
Will you help us show Obama, Pelosi, and all the rest of the Left who AFP really is?
If just 7% of AFP's 1.5-million members donate just $10 each today, we can raise more than Obama did with his liberal friends at that posh Texas fundraiser.
Just 50 AFP activists donating $20 and we match what they raised with one ticket to this Connecticut event.
You and AFP have been a real force for the American Dream on all of the key issues - Washington's spending addiction, their global warming alarmism, their hostile government takeover of your health care.
Between our rallies and bus tours, door-to-door and phone calls - the Left is taking notice … and they're scared by how much of an impact you are having on your neighbors.
So, the Left is using you as a bogeyman, raising money and energizing their base with the threat of your influence on public policy.
They know that if you keep working hard and talking to your friends, colleagues, and neighbors about the Left's radical plans, then they will not be able to complete their dismantling of the American Dream.
They are going to try to stop you at any cost. They'll spend millions and they'll sling mud - lots of mud - to try to keep you from winning this fight for our founding principles.
These attacks on you are just the beginning. Trust me. They'll get worse.
But AFP won't give up - and I know you won't either.
CLICK HERE to donate today so that we can continue to be a force for really positive change.
The Left knows exactly who you are - you are the hard-working backbone of our nation. You're the job-creating small business entrepreneurs. You're the mortgage-paying, checkbook-balancing folks who believe in personal freedom and free markets.
You're the men and women willing to give up your free time to make phone calls through our Freedom Phones Project. You're the people who sign up to knock on doors instead of hanging out by the pool.
You're the reason that the Left really doesn't stand a chance of winning this fight.
Your donation today will help AFP to keep our citizen education projects going strong at door steps and on phone calls across the country.
CLICK HERE to see the ads and you'll know exactly why the Left is so scared. They can't afford for AFP to get this message out to the rest of the public.
This is a crucial time in our November Is Coming program. I hope I can count on you to be an active part of it:
  1. Sign up to make calls from your home through our Freedom Phones Project.
  2. Sign up to be part of door-to-door efforts or citizen rallies in your area.
  3. Donate $10 to show the Obama-Pelosi-Liberal crowd that AFP is You and 1.5 million other everyday citizens who work hard and expect more from their elected leaders.
We are making a difference. Let's make it really count.
Thanks for your support,
Tim Phillips
