Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will partner with Hillary Clinton next month as double-billed featured speakers at a
Clinton Global Initiative conference, to be held June 13 in Chicago.
The CGI America event serves as a sort of brainstorming session on economic issues, with
this year’s focus on how to “promote economic recovery in the United States.”
CGI was founded in 2005 by former President Bill Clinton as a bipartisan group. But looking at some of the other high-profile names
scheduled to attend this year’s event, Christie still seems — barely — the most conservative of the bunch.
